Injustice DLC wants you to get over here!

Fans of Injustice, the DC superhero-based fighting game, will be pleased to learn that the game is due for a bit of  downloadable content (DLC) – Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion. Purists might balk at the thought of having a non-DC character in the game, but gamers will be appreciate the nod at MK from NetherRealm, the team behind all the original Mortal Kombat games, and now Injustice.

Scorpion, one of the most popular characters in the MK universe, has been given a makeover by DC artists Jim Lee, whose sketchbook makeover has impressed even Mortal Kombat veteran Ed Boon. The yellow-clad, skull-headed ninja will be present in all his polygonal glory, retaining special moves that have become favourites among console fighter enthustiasts.

The content will be available for the game on the Xbox Live Marketplace (400 MS Points) and PlayStation Network (approx. R40), but no date has yet been set for the release.
