FIFA 14 may be bundled with European Xbox Ones

Gaming industry website MCV.co.uk has reported that the mystery game to be bundled with European versions of the Xbox One will probably be the next title in EA’s massive soccer franchise, FIFA 14. It’s not clear whether it will be a physical game disc or a download code; our money is on it being a download code.

The site speculates that the move is an effort to combat the perceived price advantage of the PlayStation 4, which will retail for £349.99 versus the Xbox One’s £429.99. The RRP of the game is £55.99, which Microsoft is clearly hoping will take the sting out of the Xbox One’s higher price.

An official announcement to this effect, as well as more Xbox One and PS4 news is expected to come in the next few days (and possibly even today) from the Gamescom conference being held in Cologne, Germany this week.
