Fred Phelps and the people over at the controversial Westboro Baptist Church have done it again. Not long after the announcement of Madiba’s passing, the church tweeted its intentions to send members of the congregation to picket at his funeral.
THANK GOD for Nelson Mandela being dropped into hell! Westboro Baptist Church booking flight to South Africa (not banned) to picket funeral!

These are the same people who are best-known for picketing the funerals of dead soldiers and announcing to the world how “God hates fags” and “Fags Doom Nations”, as you see in this article’s featured image. And no, there’s no photoshopping involved – there are many examples of what these people do online.
When Fast & Furious star Paul Walker died on Sunday last week, the church volunteered a similar sentiment:
God threw that Porsche Walker was driving into tree; God sent that train around that curve @ 82mph #Glory2God http://t.co/chgfUehE2g

It’s unclear at this point whether their intentions will result in them actually arriving in South Africa to do what they’re saying they will, however.
