Global Tech Women, an international organisation that gives support to women in tech and provides a worldwide network in which they can engage, is hosting an online YouTube conference on March 8th, to coincide with International Women’s Day.

The Women Talk Tech conference will give women the chance to participate in technical discussions, network with technical women on a regional, national and international platform and be inspired by women like them, who are changing the world.

Women Talk Tech is aimed at, among other things, providing visibility for technical women speakers around the world to showcase their work and accomplishments, creating awareness of Global Tech Women and its mission and addressing enduring biases around women’s interest, ability, and participation on technical topics.

One-hour sessions will be held during the conference, with 15-minute ‘After Tech’ separate sessions to discuss a personal challenge each woman has faced in her career and answer questions from the community.

Women Talk Tech will be held over a 35-hour period to accommodate all women across different time zones and sessions will be recorded and available on the Global Tech Women YouTube Channel for broad distribution and visibility.
