Random Hacks of Kindness is back in Pretoria this month

Good grief, are we half way through the year already? Surely not – and yet 2014 must be peaking, because the biannual social hackathon Random Hacks of Kindness is back in town. The last one is indeed six months behind us, so what does the next have in store?

RHoK is a global event in which software developers, hardware hackers and those with a desire to do some good in the world bring their ideas along for a weekend of figuring stuff out, building quick prototypes and coming up with long term plans for making life a little bit better. It’s a way to meet like minded people and have some small positive affect on the world.

The next big one is scheduled for 31st May and 1st June, and locally is scheduled to take place at the UNISA campus in Pretoria. We’ll update as soon as possible with details of the sign-up page and maps.
