Doccie on the life story of Jacob Zuma to air this Sunday

President Jacob Zuma has had his political and personal life splashed all over the media over the past few years, but how many of us know about his life before he became South Africa’s number one citizen?

Well, you can find out more this Sunday when local channel eTV airs a documentary called “Comrade President: The Man from Nkandla”.

Comrade President: The Man from Nkandla, tells the story of Jacob Gedl’yhlekisa Zuma, born 12th April 1942 in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal, his childhood in the village, as well as his journey from a simple herdboy, to a life as a fighter and prisoner in the struggle against apartheid as a member of the ANC.

The documentary will air on eTV Sunday, 20th July at 3pm and will be repeated on Wednesday, 23rd July at 1.30pm.
