Season 3 of The Walking Dead game confirmed

Telltale Games have done a fantastic job with their episodic interpretation of the hugely successful The Walking Dead franchise. Focusing more on the graphic novel’s plot than AMC’s television series, the past two seasons have been met with huge praise.

So much so, that a third season has just been announced. The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and Telltale founder Kevin Bruner confirmed the upcoming series in a tweet from Comic-Con in San Diego over the weekend.

Season Two of its adaptation is nearing the end, as the second last episode was released recently, with the finale expected in the coming months.

While no plot details have been announced yet, there are some speculation. “Details on the game’s third slate of episodes currently remain scarce and with the second season finale still to go, who knows which characters will live to see the next series,” Eurogamer wrote.

Telltale Games have been really busy with other episodic games as well, like its upcoming Tales from the Borderlands game, a Game of Thrones tie-in, and the recently-concluded The Wolf Among Us, with is also based on a graphic novel.
