Google SA offers female entrepreneurs free training on Women’s Day

Sunday 8th March is International Women’s Day and Google South Africa will be marking the occasion with a free digital business management workshop for women entrepreneurs in any sector.

The practical two-day workshop will show ladies with startups in the concept or early stages how to best utilise the internet to grow their ventures.

The event will be held from 1oth to 11th March The Forum @ The Campus in Bryanston, Johannesburg from 8:30am to 6pm on both days.

Topics that will be covered include:

  • Inspiring women in business creating a successful web presence
  • Marketing your business through social media
  • Using Google advertising products such as AdWords, GDN, YouTube and Analytics.

Google says it will also encourage attendees to start digital businesses and create opportunities for other women in the digital business space.

“Core to Google’s mission is equal access to information, which is why it is committed to helping users of all backgrounds and experiences make the most of the web. This is why, when looking at how to mark this years’ International Women’s Day Google SA decided to embark on this project,” the company says.

To attend the event, you must submit an application in order for your place to be reserved. Places are limited, so do so quickly.
