Young entrepreneurs and creatives Tebogo Mogale and Sammy Rabolele recently launched a new online video channel packed with free content made by urban African youth to reach beyond the borders of the continent.
The Centurion-based independently-run Beyond The Eyes (BTE) Network features YouTube-hosted video shows under different categories such as music, cooking and talk shows.
Each show is hosted by fairly new faces to the local television and video industry and tackles topics ranging from religion to business to current affairs.
So far BTE has five video-on-demand channels:
“BTE Network was born out of the passion to deliver compelling African content to the world. Our shows are a result of young creative collaborators coming together to tell authentic stories,” reads the BTE website.
You can watch Beyond The Eyes Network shows on the service’s website or on YouTube.
