Ever since he was fired from BBC’s Top Gear there’s been a lot of speculation about where Jeremy Clarkson could land up next. At one point streaming giant Netflix was tipped to be the frontrunner to land Clarkson, Hammond and May, but it turns out the pundits were wrong.
Jeremy Clarkson has announced that that the trio have signed a contract with Amazon Prime on Twitter (who needs a PR rep anyway?).
I’m very excited to announce that Hammond, May and I have signed a deal with .@AmazonVideo

Clarkson’s announcement was soon echoed by James May on Twitter a little while later.
Good news! I’ve got a job with @AmazonVideoUK. Bad news! So have the other two. #AmazonPrime #ItSaysHere

“Customers told us they wanted to see the team back on screen, and we are excited to make that happen. We can’t wait to see what Jeremy, Richard, James and the team will create in what is sure to be one of the most globally anticipated shows of 2016,” said Amazon Prime Video EU vice president Jay Marine.
There is no word on whether it will be called Clarkson, Hammond and May, or Best Cog, Fantastic Brakes, Carboot Sale or anything else. What would you like to see it called? Tell us in the comments below.
