You’ll get to binge on Star Wars movies on a new dedicated DStv channel 

While you’re waiting for the release of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens scheduled for this December, you can use The Force to binge on all previous movies over two weeks on DStv.

The pay-tv company just announced they will be launching a Star Wars franchise pop-up channel on M-Net Movies channel 109, and will be open to DStv Premium customers from 31st August to 13th September.

Starting with the first film (or fourth, depending on how you look at it) Star Wars: A New Hope, the entire franchise will be screened in chronological order of release. Each release will be broadcast at 6am and 7:30pm with repeats on Sundays.

The movies will be interspersed with Star Wars animated features, series and documentaries, and additional content will be also be available on the M-Net website.

“Creating a movie channel dedicated to Star Wars is an initiative that Star Wars fans will enjoy, but we also hope to introduce this iconic programming to a new audience,” said M-Net SA CEO, Yolisa Phahle.
