It’s no surprise that just about every business (and their dog) is expanding into mobile territory; accounting software firm Sage is the latest company to jump on that particular bandwagon.
The company has announced the general availability of its Sage Live app on iOS, which puts a business’s financial information within easy reach of the people who need to keep an eye on it, whether they’re at work, at home or just out and about.
The press statement that accompanied the announcement said “The new Sage Live for iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch will deliver significant advances in real-time business management and improve efficiency and effectiveness across the entire supply chain for small and medium business users. Sage Live will be sold through Apple’s ecosystem and Sage will work with Apple to help educate Small & Medium Sized businesses on the benefits of mobile technology.”
Sage joined forces with Apple recently and became a mobility partner. According to Sage’s executive vice president of global strategic and alliances Alan Laing, that’s because “We see the future as mobile, and we’re excited to be an Apple mobility partner which will help us get our simple and powerful accounting solutions into the hands of even more Small & Medium Sized business owners and help them grow and be successful.”
So if you’re a Sage user, and you’ve always wanted to be able to access your financial data through your iPhone or iPad, now you totally can.
