Everything wrong with Batman v Superman

It’s news to no one that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was a disappointment, but do you want to know exactly why?

While you could read our review right here, that’s more of an overview that doesn’t get into the minute-to-minute minutiae.

Luckily we have popular YouTube content creator CinemaSins to do that for us. If you’ve never watched any of their “Everything Wrong With” series of videos, here’s the format: the narrator will go through the movie and every time it does something wrong, the movie will earn a “sin”.

At the end of the video the sins will be tallied and given a “Sentence” based on how poorly it’s done.

While Batman v Superman is rife with sore spots, “no movie is without sin” as CinemaSins say, so this is going to be a beat down of super proportions.

While we’re in this universe, Suicide Squad launches today in South Africa and many parts of the rest of the world. We’ve already seen (and reviewed) it and it’s causing some tension in the office.

We’re currently arguing over which movie is better between the two first entries in DC’s cinematic universe. While both of them definitely didn’t hit it out of the park, we’ll have to wait for the public to vote with their wallets as the weekend box office numbers come in. It’s Batman v Superman v Suicide Squad, which is only a slightly less worse title than “Dawn of Justice”.
