Battlefield titles are deeply discounted in Origin’s sale

The Battlefield series and all its additional content are being offered at massive discounts as part of a sale taking place on right now on EA’s Origin PC platform.

The Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4 and Battlefield: Hardline main games have all been reduced in price to R49.98 each. The DLC, expansions and so called “shortcuts” that let you instantly unlock content already in the game have been discounted too.

As expected, the pre-order price for the upcoming Battlefield 1 has not changed and is still sitting at R599.95. If that’s the one you’re really looking forward too, we suggest you sign up to the Insider programme so you can take part in the beta when it’s released on August 31st.

If you desperately need a hit of the WW1 action right now, there’s a new trailer for you to watch.

If you’re not really bothered about Battlefield, the sale on Origin also includes games from the The Sims, Need for Speed, Star Wars, Crysis franchise and more with up to 75% being cut off the regular price.

If you positively hate EA but have some money in your pocket that you want to use on games, there’s a new Humble Indie Bundle that you should check out.
