Over R30k in prizes to be won in our Gear of the Year survey
We’ve extended the deadline for this survey to make sure everyone gets chance to enter! See below…
It’s that time of year again when we all put our heads together and evaluate what has come and gone in the world of tech over the past 12 months.
And like we did last year, we want to hear from you, our loyal readers – we want your opinions on what you thought was the best tech of 2016.
So to that end, we’re putting up a questionnaire for you to fill in with your selections for the Gear of the Year, and we’re going to use that to put together a bumper edition of our in-house magazine, Tech Made Easy, as well as publish a sequence of articles that’ll go up on htxt.co.za over the course of December.
This year’s Gear of the Year survey has been made possible thanks to our partner, Axiz.
We’ve given you several products to choose from per category, but we’ve also included an “Other” box in case you know of something not listed that you feel is a better candidate for the award in that category. Should those “other” votes show a definite trend toward a particular product, we’ll take that into consideration.
The voting opens today, and runs until the 20th December. The magazine featuring the results will be out in January, and we’ll be dropping GOTY posts on the website right up until Christmas.
Droolworthy prize to be won
Now, we’re not just going to take your votes and run: in return for your participation in the survey we’ve got not one, but two amazing rewards to award to one lucky participant: a Gigabyte P17 laptop and a 34-inch ultra widescreen gaming monitor from LG. If you like your toys high tech, you’ll love these two prizes!
Together, these two highly desirable pieces of kit are worth over R30 000, so that’s plenty of motivation to cast your votes!
And remember – the more people who vote the more accurate the results will be, so please share this entry form with your friends.
We’ll announce the winner shortly after the conclusion of the campaign.
And that’s it! On to the votes!
