WIN! One of three copies of Mafia III for PC!

We have some good news for you PC gamers who may have held off buying Mafia III: we have three Steam codes for the standard version of the game to give away, courtesy of global gaming brand MSI!

MSI is currently running a promotion whereby if you buy one of their select gaming motherboards, you get a copy of Mafia III with your purchase for no extra cost until the end of December.

Qualifying motherboards are from three of MSI’s gaming series: X99, Z170 and C232:

If you’re not in the market for a new motherboard, here’s your chance to win a copy of the game anyway and see it running on PC in its full glory. And should your rig not hit that magical 60fps mark, maybe it’s time for an upgrade…?

Mafia III is set in the 1960s, in the fictional New Orleans-alike town of New Bordeaux. The game stars Lincoln Clay, a man of mixed-race heritage with a fascinating backstory who’s back from a tour in Vietnam; he goes after the city’s criminal underworld after a violent double-cross leaves his best friend dead. He embarks on a revenge-fueled crime spree that you, the player, are in charge of.

Our own Nick Cowen said of the game in his review, “Mafia III’s story is its strongest feature, and perhaps because though the Italian mobsters here are the antagonists rather than the anti-heroes, the game’s plot is more Goodfellas than The Godfather. Like the psychopaths in Martin Scorsese’s seminal flick, there’s a more ramshackle, edgy feel to the proceedings. Furthermore, the characters in Mafia III manage to be as likable as a bunch of organised killers can be. This is due in no small part to some superb voice acting and a drum-tight script. Even though Clay and his pals have a proclivity for murder, racketeering and general brutality, they still manage to come across as engaging – if not entirely as ‘the good guys’.”

If you’d like to stand a chance of winning one of the three Steam codes we have been so kindly provided by MSI, all you need to do is answer an easy question and let us know if you’d like to sign up for our weekday newsletter.
