The ridiculous Buster Sword from Final Fantasy has been 3D printed to scale

We’ve already featured 3D printed weapons from Final FantasyPaine’s sword as well as Kadaj’s double-bladed katana have already been 3D printed. But now it’s time for maybe the most recognised weapon from the franchise: Cloud Strife’s Buster Sword.

A user on MyMiniFactory has uploaded the files needed to 3D print your own sword to the site. The sword is comprised of 15 different pieces that need to be glued together, resulting in a prop that is five to six feet long (1.5 – 1.8 metres) long and one foot (0.3 metres) wide.

If you’re experiencing déjà vu after hearing about a full size Buster Sword, you may be thinking of the version created by Man At Arms. There’s was a forged, steel weapon prop instead of a 3D print, but it was just as big and unruly.

Lastly, while we’re speaking of Final FantasyXV is out soon. In anticipation, Conan O’Brien and Elijah Wood sat down to play the game for the popular “Clueless Gamer” segment.
