htxt.africast – DeeTwenty, Assassin’s Creed and learning Hearthstone

After a short break for the festive season we are back with the first edition of the htxt.africast of 2017.

This week Brendyn tells us about the DeeTwenty Geeking Venue he visited this last weekend. If you’ve always wanted to get into roleplaying, table top games or Magic: The Gathering, this is the place to visit.

Then Nick tells us about Assassin’s Creed and why focusing on the modern era rather than the past where blades and dust replace PCs and machines, is a bad idea.

To round off proceedings Nick and Brendyn chat about Clinton’s favourite topic, Hearthstone. While both Nick and Brendyn have played the game for a long time, Nick shares his experience with us about how some more proficient players gave him some tips at a tournament he played in at the weekend.

That’s all for this week, as always you can find links to most of the stories we’ve discussed below.
