WhatsApp for Android integrated with GIF search and send button

Android WhatsApp users now don’t have to attach a GIF from an external folder within conversations as the app now has an integrated GIPHY library where you can pick from.

The instant messaging service’s beta version was recently updated with the feature, which makes it easier to send the perfectly expressed response to a message.

Late last year, sharing GIFs was enabled on WhatsApp for both Android and iOS, but you still had to save a GIF either from GIPHY or any other source and select it from a folder on your mobile.

Now, if you want to send a GIF, you just tap on the emoji icon within a conversation. You can scroll through the library to find a GIF or type in a keyword.

Also added to the beta update is an increase in the number of media files you can send at once.

Previously, you could only send 10 files at a time, now you can send up to 30.

The updates are only available on WhatsApp beta, which you can download via the APK file, or if you’d rather not, then wait for the official update on Google Play.
