This 3D printed Guardian from Breath of the Wild is also a Nintendo Switch stand

Like most new popular games, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is attracting talented makers to create interesting 3D prints, and today we have one with two uses.

Jadrian Ejercito has recreated a Guardian from the game in surprisingly high detail. Taking between 20 and 25 hours to print, this version is bigger than the amiibo, and for a good reason.

If you have a Nintendo Switch this model also doubles as a handy stand, with the console sitting on the three front legs and resting on the main body. The orientation of the legs also allows the Switch to be charged while you play.

You can download the files to 3D print your own Guardian for free from MyMiniFactory. This creation is an entry into the site’s currently running contest to design accessories for the Switch, and we have to imagine that this one is a favourite.
