Square Enix is livestreaming Rabbits to celebrate FFXII’s release

For upcoming release of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Square Enix have opted for a rather strange marketing campaign. One that involves the livestreaming of rabbits.

The rabbits will be “dressed up” as Final Fantasy’s iconic Moogle characters via cardboard cut outs and will be livestreamed for 24 hours daily up until the game’s release on 11th July 2017.

Vauxhall City Farm in London will play host to the rabbits and viewers can check out the livestream on Square Enix’s Twitch channel which, appropriately enough, has been renamed to “Moogle Watch”.

Viewers will be able to interact with the rabbits by deciding their names as well as what they will eat throughout the day.

The Final Fantasy Twitter account will be providing updates on the furry friends, so if you’d like to venture further down this marketing rabbit hole, you’d best give them a follow.
