Hlaudi Motsoeneng to hold first public address since SABC axing

Axed ex-SABC boss, Hlaudi Motsoeneng, will again make a return to the public space with a press conference scheduled for tomorrow.

Motsoeneng, who was finally fired from the public broadcaster by the interim board after a disciplinary hearing, is set to discuss a number of issues including the interim board, 90% local music quota, the loss of revenue at the SABC, and more.

If this all sounds like déja vu, that’s because Motsoeneng held a similar press conference earlier this year, where he spent almost two hours lashing out at almost all of his detractors both inside and outside the SABC.

This time round however, Motsoeneng will not be bound by the rules of his former workplace. So this press conference has the potential to be something truly special.

The conference takes place at the Garden Court Hotel in Auckland Park at 10Am. We suggest you make some popcorn.
