iPhone 8 pricing starts at R13 499

The iPhone 8 hits local shores on 20th October and iStore has announced pricing for the next generation of Apple’s smartphone.

Keep in mind that these prices are exclusive to the iStore and may differ from other outlets.

The 64GB iPhone is actually rather tempting at R13 499 even if the Samsung Galaxy S8 is cheaper than it at the moment at R12 895. The 256GB iPhone 8 will retail for R16 499.

Both the 64GB and 256GB iPhone 8’s will be available on hire-purchase on an iStore card for R629 per month and R768 per month over 24 months respectively.

The larger iPhone 8 Plus will start at R15 499 for the 64GB iteration and the 256GB version will cost you R18 499. On an iStore card you can get the 64GB handset for R722 per month and the 256GB handset will cost you R861 per month. These contracts are also over 24 months.

If you want to avoid queuing on the 20th for your new smartphone iStore is allowing customers to pre-order the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

While you’re doing that you might also want to pick up a free iCare Plus voucher which entitles you to a free screen repair and extended warranty on your handset.
