Zuma’s future son-in-law drew up “free tertiary education” plan – report

When President Jacob Zuma presents the Fees Commission report on the feasibility of free tertiary education in South Africa, he may present a plan drawn up by his 28-year-old future son-in-law.

That’s according to a report by Times Live, which alleges that the report, still sitting with Zuma over two months, contains in it a plan to take money from various government departments to make R40 billion available for needy students in the 2018 academic year.

Morris Masutha, engaged to the president’s daughter, devised a plan that contradicts the report’s original conclusion that free education is just not possible, according to Times Live’s report.

Masutha has allegedly been “advising” Zuma on the matter for some time now.

The Office of the Presidency has not said when the report will be released.
