With 6 000 hours of video uploaded to YouTube every minute of the day, you’re gonna have a hard time finding the ones worth watching. The excellent content is usually linked via social media. The good content is stuff you’ll have to find out of curiosity and clicking through related links on many kitten videos. The average content includes home videos and boring how-to videos.

But the terrible content – or rather, the controversial content – is what you really want to get your eyes and ears on. For that stuff, there’s BoooTube – all of the internet’s most down-voted videos. These are the videos that get down-voted into the darker depths of the internet, by the collective hivemind of YouTube regulars. Videos like the one depicting baby yoga, which has 16 000 down-votes, and only 1 200 up-votes. Others include people just being terrible at singing; airing their bigoted thoughts; behaving like jackasses and endangering others; or even politicians who have completely disagreeable views.

You’ll find ’em all on Boootube. Just don’t spend too much time there without breaking to watch something good.
