Thanks to the power of the internet, you no longer have to drive for hours on end to participate in one of the oldest childhood activities: walking through a maze.

And thanks to owners of the Edmonton Corn Maze in Canada, you won’t have to sit on long flights to enjoy their real life puzzle. They got a hold of the Google Street View team and had the corn maze mapped – on a sunny day, too, so you get a virtual dose of vitamin E – so all you have to do is operate a mouse. While you could go ahead and cheat by zooming out and looking at the overhead satellite photo of the map, it’ll be far more fun if you just go through as per normal and answer the questions as you progress.

Eleven years ago Christo started writing about technology for one of South Africa's (then) leading computer magazines. His first review? A Samsung LCD monitor. Hey, it was hot news, back then. Nowadays he gets more excited about photography, cars, game consoles, and faster internet connections. He's sort of an Apple fan, but will take any opportunity to remind you about his Windows-powered home theatre PC and desire to own a vanilla Android tablet.   Currently uses: Apple 13-inch Macbook Pro with Retina Display, Apple iPhone 5, Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000, Audiofly AF78 Earphones, Xbox 360, Nikon D50.
