Alan Knott-Craig, the CEO of mobile operator Cell C, has been taken to hospital following a minor stroke. A press statement put out by the company says that he is responding well to treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
In the meantime, Chief Commercial Officer Jose Dos Santos will take over Knott-Craig’s duties until he returns to work.

Cell C would like to inform the public that its CEO, Alan Knott-Craig suffered a minor stroke earlier today. He is currently recovering in hospital and is responding well to treatment. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Cell C Chief Commercial Officer, Jose Dos Santos will act as CEO until Alan returns to work.
The Board and staff wish Alan a speedy recovery.
