Season Two of The Walking Dead game kicking off before Christmas

Earlier this year, we reported that TellTale Games would be releasing the second season of its popular The Walking Dead adventure game before the end of 2013, but no exact release date was given.

That mystery has been solved, as the game’s Steam listing now shows the release date: December 17, 2013. Of course, this is only for the first episode of the five-episode run; the other four episodes will enjoy a staggered release at later dates.

All five episodes of Season Two can be pre-ordered for a 10% discount on Steam right now, or you can pick them up from Greenmangaming.com for an extra 20% off by using the site’s generous coupon on top of the pre-order discount.

Sometimes, being alone in the zombie apocalypse is the best way to stay alive. Other times, not so much.
