Everyone loves a geek mashup when two familiar and iconic things collide, but the bar for crossover promotions has just been raised.
LEGO released official photos yesterday and announced its partnership with Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products to produce the long-awaited set. It also revealed that the FOX Channel will broadcast a special episode of The Simpsons in May this year, featuring Springfield and characters in LEGO form.
The Simpsons house construction set will be available from February 1st, with a separate line of 16 characters coming in May.
