Road Rash gets a spiritual successor via Kickstarter

If you are a child of the nineties and you were into videogames back then, you’ll probably remember Road Rash, a motorbike racing game where you had to win by punching and kicking your fellow racers until they crash. It was huge on the original PlayStation, plus it came to the PC as well.

Developer Dark Seas Games launched a Kickstarter campaign to make a spiritual successor to Road Rash called Road Redemption, which exceeded its modest $160,000 goal by just over $13,000, and is now hard at work building the game.

To show off their progress, they released a video to their Kickstarter backers which was posted online for all to see by gaming website Joystiq. Naturally, we’ve posted it below for your enjoyment.

If you like what you see (and who wouldn’t?), you can still pre-order the game for a minimum donation of $15 (around R160)  on the official Road Redemption website.
