Tonight, January 22nd, at 11pm you will be able to talk to the (spoiler alert) son of Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker. Well, it’ll really be the actor who portrays him, Mark Hamill, and he’ll be taking your questions on Reddit’s IAmA subreddit.

Hamill originally got his big movie break with the first Star Wars film, as one of the leading characters, and then went on to feature in the two sequels as well. Since then he’s appeared in a number of other films and TV shows, and even in Star Wars-alike video game series, Wing Commander. He’s also rumoured to be starring in the next Star Wars film due in 2015.

Now that you’ve got a brief history of a man who got famous for kissing his on-screen sister, prepare your questions and sign up for a Reddit account – who knows what juicy bit of nerd news you could get out of it?

Eleven years ago Christo started writing about technology for one of South Africa's (then) leading computer magazines. His first review? A Samsung LCD monitor. Hey, it was hot news, back then. Nowadays he gets more excited about photography, cars, game consoles, and faster internet connections. He's sort of an Apple fan, but will take any opportunity to remind you about his Windows-powered home theatre PC and desire to own a vanilla Android tablet.   Currently uses: Apple 13-inch Macbook Pro with Retina Display, Apple iPhone 5, Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000, Audiofly AF78 Earphones, Xbox 360, Nikon D50.
