Christopher Bischoff, the South African developer behind the survival-horror adventure game STASIS that was successfully Kickstarted last year, has released a public video update in which he talks about the state of the game and a bit about its development.

For a refresher on what STASIS is, check out our previous coverage of its 2013 Kickstarter campaign. If you like what you see, you can download and play an alpha version of the first chapter of the game right now; if after that you’d like to support its development you can still back it with a direct PayPal donation.

Lastly, if you’d like to stay abreast of all STASIS’s news and happenings on a weekly basis without committing to its financial support, head over to the game’s official website at stasisgame.com where you can sign up for newsletter alerts, follow the game on Twitter and more for free.

Deon got his first taste of PC gaming at the tender age of 11 when his father bought an 8088 XT, ostensibly to "help him with his homework". Instead, it introduced him to Leisure Suit Larry, King Graham, Sonny Bonds and many more, and Deon has been a PC gamer and hardware enthusiast ever since. He landed his first professional writing gig in 2006 at a prestigious local PC magazine, a very happy happenstance as he got to write for a living about things he loves - tech, PCs, gaming, and everything in between. He's been writing about it all ever since, and loves every minute of it.
