A week-and-a-bit ago, the internet’s favourite science guy, Bill Nye, took to the stage at the Creation Museum, in Kentucky, USA, and had a formal debate with pro-creationist, Ken Ham. 500 000 people tuned in on YouTube to watch the debate live, and the video’s had nearly 2-million views since then.

Now, it seems debate season is in full swing for Nye. Last night he appeared on American news channel NBC’s Meet The Press, where he debated climate change with Marsha Blackburn, a politician from the US state of Tennessee. Needless to say, with many more facts backing up his argument, and reality, Nye’s responses made far more sense.

Eleven years ago Christo started writing about technology for one of South Africa's (then) leading computer magazines. His first review? A Samsung LCD monitor. Hey, it was hot news, back then. Nowadays he gets more excited about photography, cars, game consoles, and faster internet connections. He's sort of an Apple fan, but will take any opportunity to remind you about his Windows-powered home theatre PC and desire to own a vanilla Android tablet.   Currently uses: Apple 13-inch Macbook Pro with Retina Display, Apple iPhone 5, Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000, Audiofly AF78 Earphones, Xbox 360, Nikon D50.
