Drones used to snap footage at Fendi fashion show

Italian fashion brand, Fendi, hosted its fashion show in Milan this week and instead of using comvetional cameras only to capture footage for live broadcast on the Fendi website, it also incoportaed a set of drones to get different shots.

Fendi teamed up with Google to use Parrot AR. 2.0 Drones fitted with HD cameras that hovered around the catwalk as the models strutted up and down.

“We are enthusiastic to be the first using this technology on the catwalk which will allow us, once again, to be pioneers in our field and projected towards the future. In addition, we will allow our fans to see our fashion show like no one has ever seen before,” Fendi President and CEO Pietro Beccari said before the show kicked off.
