Forget island paradises and loud shirts, the next Far Cry game is going to be set in the winter wonderland of the Himalayas, and let players ride elephants for the first time.

Or at least, so says Eurogamer, claiming “sources close to the project” have told them so. Those same sources have also hinted that the game will be out in 2015, sometime within Ubisoft’s next financial year (which ends in March 2015).

They also said that it will feature a similar open-world-RPG design to that of FC3, including hunting for upgrades (literally) and the presence of camps that must be liberated from hostile forces.

The PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 were all mentioned as supported platforms, with no word on whether FC4 will see a previous-gen release as well.

Lastly, Eurogamer’s sources said that players can expect Ubisoft to talk much more about the game at June’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, so there’s not long to wait.
