Looking for a good spot to sleep? Google Naps can help

Apparently, Sandton has one of the best places in the world to take a nap, that’s according to Google Naps.

Google Naps is a parody of Google Maps and is the brainchild of designers from the Kakhiel and Venour design companies in the Netherlands. Google Naps maps out all the places arouund the world where you’ll enjoy catching up on a few Z’s. The nap spots are submitted by ordinary people who happen to find it and put it on the map along with a reason why it’s a good nap spot.

So far, six places across South Africa have been mapped as good nap spots, from a field in Sandton to a bench in Cape Town.

What’s the purpose of Google Naps? “We just want to bring a smile on the faces of Google fans,” say Google Nap’s creators.
