MWEB hosting “Master Series” CoD Ghosts LAN this weekend

MWEB has posted the schedule for its “Master Series” Call of Duty Xbox 360 tournament that is being held in Cape Town this weekend. It kicks off at 10am at MWEB’s Parow offices on Saturday, and the first day of play is devoted to group rounds that will determine which teams go through to the quarter-, semi-finals and finals/play-offs on Sunday.

20 teams will be taking part in the competition, all vying to win their share of the tournament’s R16 600 prize pool. Teams are required to bring their own Call of Duty: Ghosts game discs and Xbox controllers, will have to be at the venue at least 30 minutes before their matches are scheduled to start, and will be given one meal each on the day.

Spectators are welcome to attend the “Master Series” CoD Ghosts LAN. MWEB says there will be food stalls, a non-tournament gaming area, spot prizes being handed out, Red Bull promotion ladies and a handful of gaming peripheral vendors for spectators to engage with.

All matches will be broadcast live on a huge 84-inch HiSense 4K TV. Gamers unable to attend in person can watch Sunday’s matches via the internet, broadcast live via Twitch.tv and MWEB Stream.

If you’re in the area and are keen to attend, MWEB’s Parow offices are located at:
