Youth magazine LiveMagSA is giving young people between ages 18-25 in and around Joburg the chance to partake in a three-month digital skills programme for free.

Trainees will receive broad and wide-ranging practical skills with digital campaigns, social media and content creation, as well as professional skills training that will help them get their dream digital job. Because the initiative is being backed by Google, they’ll also be shown how to useSearch, Ad Words, YouTube and Google Analytics.

The whole thing kicks off next month, and the first round of applications close this Friday, April 25th. If you make it through the first round you’ll go on to a second interview after which the final trainees will be chosen. All successful applicants will expected to attend the workshops five days a week for three months beginning in May.

Head over to the LiveMagSA site to apply.
