SA developed Blazin’ Aces enters iOS and Android charts

Dogfighting arcade game Blazin’ Aces has been doing really well in the first six days since it launched. Duncan Bell, the game’s creator, told us that it has climbed onto the top 30 paid apps list in both the iOS and Android stores.

It’s no wonder, too: Blazin’ Aces costs just R10 or so ($1), and it has been reviewing really well. Our own thoughts on the game reflected its overall quality and fun-factor, and international press seem to agree.

In case you don’t know, Blazin’ Aces is a dogfighting side-scroller set in the golden era of aviation (World War I & II) that pits your reflexes and agility against a host of AI opponents as you go after the high score. It’s challenging but fair, and a great way to kill a few minutes here and there on your phone or tablet.

Since its release Blazin’ Aces has also been ported to Android, making it available on Google’s platform as well as Microsoft’s and Apple’s.

Grab it here (Android), here (iOS) and here (Windows Phone).
