Facebook for iOS adds ‘create posts offline, share later’ feature

In times of low or no internet connection and the desire to post something to Facebook at the same time, Facebook for iOS’s latest update will allow you to create a post even when you’re offline, and post it once you have a strong connection.

So whether you’re in airplane mode or in an area with dubious internet connectivity, the feature will kick in as soon as Facebook picks up a slow or non-existent connection on your phone.

The update comes with other new features: for starters, you can review what your post will look like and choose whether to remove any suggested links before sharing any content, and the News Feed has been improved so that it loads faster, especially on older phones and tablets.

Download or update to Facebook version 10.0 for iOS from iTunes.
