Fancy a game of The Walking Dead pinball?

Enjoyed the Telltale Games video game version of the classic The Walking Dead graphic novels? Well, you will now be able to make the same decisions you did in the episodic series in a newly-announced pinball title featuring creator Robert Kirkman’s characters.

Zen Studios, who has been making pinball games themed after numerous pop culture icons, partnered with Telltale and Kirkman to create a pinball table based on the game series.

The studio explained that the plot (if there could be one) for the pinball game will follow the event from the first season, with locations like Clementine’s treehouse and Everett’s pharmacy in Macon all making an appearance.

“Zen Studios is a huge admirer of Telltale Games, and we truly cherish the opportunity to work with such amazing visionaries. Working with Telltale’s The Walking Dead is a hallmark moment as we continue our quest to create the most memorable and authentic pinball experiences,” said Mel Kirk, vice president of publishing at Zen Studios.

According to a press statement, it will feature choice-driven gameplay throughout all five episodes while adding a bit of originality.

“Zen knocked it out of the park with their interpretation Telltale’s first season of The Walking Dead as a pinball table. Players once again get to step into the shoes of Lee Everett and protect Clementine as all the major events of season one play a role in the first ever pinball game that features choice and consequence gameplay,” said Steve Allison, senior vice president of publishing at Telltale Games.

The game will be on demonstration at this year’s E3 Electronic Entertainment Expo at the Telltale Booth.

We are not so sure how a pinball game without actual zombies will work, but we trust that Zen Studios knows what it is doing.
