New PS Vita action bundle brings you big names, for cheap

Handheld gamers rejoice. The next Mega Bundle for the PlayStation Vita is almost upon us. Come the end of June, Sony has told us that Vita owners will be able to buy five excellent games and an 8GB memory card for their handhelds for R599 from all major South Africa gaming retailers.

The games on offer include the superb brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, the timing-tester Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate and Kratos’ latest Vita outing, God of War: Chains of Olympus. Rounding out the rather impressive line-up are Killzone: Liberation and PlayStation Allstars: Battle Royale. At R599, that’s just a bit under R120 each – n0t bad at all for such high-profile games.

The titles I’m most interested in are Injustice and God of War. Those games alone are worth the cost of the entire bundle as they’re not only a lot of fun but there’s a lot to see and do even if you’re not out to master every fighter’s style or unlock all secrets.

The pack comes with an 8GB memory card and download vouchers for all five games. All told, gamers are getting many, many hours of triple-A entertainment in this one bundle making it well worth the cash.

The new Action Mega Bundle will be available with just the games and the memory card, but there’s another one that includes a PS Vita as well, but pricing on that bundle hadn’t been confirmed by press time.

Both packs are out at the end of June. We weren’t given the exact release date, so you should just keep an eye on your favourite gaming retailers and websites to stay abreast of developments.
