Looking for somewhere to store your precious photos online other than Picasa or Flickr? Just in case there aren’t enough ways to share photos online already, digital camera manufacturer Canon has created its own cloud-based photography depository.

By signing up to Irista, you will be able to upload images from the web, the desktop app or pull in images from Facebook and Flickr. But the service isn’t limited to users of Canon cameras, as it supports a range of camera brands, models, sites and file types.

“Irista is the perfect place to find inspiration and enhance your skills. With all your images in one place, you can view, compare and assess them with ease; this will help you become a better photographer,” the site explains.

And what is even better news, is that there is no limit on the file sizes, however, a free account only allows you to upload 10GB of images. They do have two other storage options, giving you 50GB of space for € 4.99 per month, while the Premium package gives you 100GB of storage for € 10.99 per month.

The site supports any file type from JPEG to RAW, allows you to share images from Irista to social networks, and a host of organising tools to sort through the clutter, like tagging people in images, and adding keywords.
