FIFA World Cup info coming to Google Now

Do you use a smartphone or tablet that runs on the world’s most popular operating system, Android? Are you a fan of the world’s most popular sport, football? Chances are that there are a lot of you that just answered yes to both of these questions. Later this week the 20th FIFA World Cup will kick off in the host country Brazil and Google has updated its Google Now software to include all of the live scores, tables and results from the tournament. All you need to do is search for the term “world cup”, or for the name of the team you’re looking for updates on, in the Google Search app and Google will you’ll be kept up to date with everything from the tournament. The tournament kicks off at 22h00 South African time with the first match between the hosts, Brazil, and Croatia at the Arena Corinthians in São Paulo. Google Now World Cup
