Where to watch all the E3 press conferences

With E3, the biggest video games expo, officially starting tomorrow, the largest names in the industry will be hosting various press conferences over the coming days, starting with Microsoft tonight. So, here’s a handy guide on where and how to watch the likes of Microsoft, Sony, Ubisoft and Electronic Arts show off their new and forthcoming titles.

Microsoft

The maker of the Xbox will be taking centre stage tonight at 6pm (South African time), and you will be able to catch the action by downloading the app from the Xbox360 dashboard. If you are not able to view it through your console, it will also be streamed live here. The company will show off a bunch of new Xbox One titles, but the console will only release in South Africa in September.

Sony

Sony has one of the worst time slots for South Africans, as it will be broadcast in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. Sony is expected to reveal the first footage of Uncharted 4 as well as a number of other titles. Their live stream can be watched here, as well as through a dedicated Ustream website.

Nintendo

Fans of Nintendo can catch their Digital Event livestream here. The company is expected to show off new game footage of previously announced games, while making a couple of new announcements.

Mario Kart 8

Ubisoft

Riding high on the success of Watch Dog and the last Assassin’s Creed title, Ubisoft will be hosting one of the most anticipated developer keynotes of E3. Their press conference can be viewed on their YouTube channel and on Twitch.

Electronic Arts

After the leak of the new Battlefield title, gamers will be rather eager to see more of the action-packed follow-on, and to get a glimpse of what else the studio has been working on. Their press conference can be viewed on Twitch, SpikeTV and on their official website.

Battlefield-4-Paracel-Storm

The rest of E3

In what is probably a first for the biggest gaming expo in the world, selected parts of the event will be live streamed in its entirety. Gaming news website GameSpot has put up a rather nifty calendar of live streams for some of the most anticipated games, as well as an E3 LiveCam for each day.
