How much do we like Huawei’s new flagship smartphone, the Ascend P7? We like it an awful lot.

Killer design, excellent performance, great battery life and a bargain price won it a big recommendation from Dave when he reviewed it last month. It is, genuinely, one of the best phones currently available in South Africa.

We liked it so much, in fact, that we wanted you to have one – or at least one of you to have one. Barely had the ink run dry on our review than we began lobbying Huawei to give us a phone to give away. And you know what? They did.

The Ascend P7 is currently selling for R6 699 at retail, and comes with a full HD IPS screen and a fast 1.8GHHz quad core processor made by Huawei itself. It has 16GB of storage, 2GB of RAM and a whopping 13MP camera on the back plus an 8MP front facing snapper for high def selfies.

So if you want to get your hands on this awesome 5-inch, all-glass phone that weighs just 124g and is an astonishing 6.5mm thin, then here’s your chance. All we’re going to ask you to do fill in the form below with a caption for the following photo that’s 20 words or less and is around the theme ‘ascend’. The entry that makes us laugh the most wins.

You can also enter by adding a caption which includes the word ‘ascend’ in the comments section below, or by adding the same caption to the comments on this Facebook status.
