Microsoft promotes OneNote in awkward, yet creative parody

After Microsoft recently integrated its OneNote digital notebook product with the Surface Pro 3, it could’ve gone the conventional marketing route to promote it. But the OneNote engineering team couldn’t resist following up on its parody to promote OneNote Mac.

The team used LMFAO‘s electric pop hit “Sexy and I know it”. They changed the words to “Click it and I Note it”, and made a video starring themselves dancing around the office, each with a Surface Pro 3 in hand, wearing OneNote t-shirts, tutus and Star Trek costumes.

According to News.com.au, the OneNote engineering team tried to delete the video from YouTube (without success, obviously) shortly after it went up. As bad as the video is, we’ll give them credit for creativity.
