[htxt.africast] Episode 13 – SA is bad with carbon, HP’s R2100 laptop, the 9-year old videogame maker & Flappy Bird 2

Dave, Deon and Charlie hold down the fort  in the studio again today, as they discuss South Africa’s recent rating as the 12th highest CO2 emitter in the world, the fact that HP is working on a R2100 Windows laptop and Apple working on (standard) reversible USB cables.

In gaming news, we talk about a famous nine-year old’s video game (Ryan Carmack, the son of programming genius John Carmack of Wolfenstein and Doom fame) and Dong Nguyen’s sequel to Flappy Bird, Swingcopters. Rounding things out, there’s the fact that Vodacom is spending R1bn (with a ‘b’) on Gauteng’s infrastructure by March 2015.
