Assassin’s Creed: Rogue coming to PC in early 2015

Here’s a bit of good news for a Tuesday morning: Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, the AC game that’s out soon on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is going to be released on PC in early 2015.

AC: Unity for current-gen and AC: Rogue for previous-gen consoles are both still on track for a November 14 release, so this news doesn’t affect those. What it does mean is that PC gamers will also get to play through the story of Shay, an assassin who turns on his brothers to join the Templars, and connect the missing story links between AC 3 and AC 4: Black Flag. With better graphics than anything the old 360 and PS3 have to offer to boot. Win!

Mega-publisher Ubisoft confirmed to Eurogamer that the game is coming to PC in early 2015. In publisher-speak, that’s probably the first quarter of the year, so expect it sometime before the end of March.

Also expect more of the naval warfare that made Black Flag so much fun, an intriguing story of betrayal and redemption, and what look to be some pretty epic action scenes as shown in the story trailer below.

Ubisoft really is spoiling us Assassin’s Creed fans.
