More teen girls are victims of cyber bullying than boys

Twice as more teenage girls between the ages of 12 and 15 are subjected to cyber bullying than boys of the same age group in the UK, a new study has revealed.

British research firms Ofcom Research and Saville Rossiter-Base conducted the study with British preteens and teens between eight and 15. Four percent of preteens said they had experienced cyber bullying compared to 6% of teens. 4% of teen boys said they were victims, 8% of teen girls said the same.
